Exchanges & Returns

Exchanges

Please read our exchange policy carefully to ensure you can proceed with your request as quick as possible.

We exchange items if they don't fit, but unfortunately we are not able to offer free returns or pre-paid labels. If you need to exchange it for the same item or have a return, send us an email at info@le-mot.com mentioning the reason why you wish to exchange it.

  1. The item(s) can be exchanged within 14 days from reception of the order. Once our team receives the items, we will ship the desired size/style within 14 days.

  2. For the item(s) to be eligible to exchange, it must be unworn and in perfect condition, that is, without having been worn, washed or altered, with the tags still attached and the packaging in very good condition. The item(s) must not have stains or any sign of being worn. The item(s) sent for exchange that do not correspond to this criteria may be accepted at our discretion, and may not be accepted. In case this happens, item(s) may be sent back to the customer.

  3. The exchange must be previously authorized by Le Mot team, who will provide you with an Exchange Reference. Please e-mail info@le-mot.com before shipping. Once the exchange or return is authorized, the Le Mot team will supply an exchange form that must be fulfilled and shipped with the item.

  4. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. In cases where a product is deemed defective Le Mot shall assume the entire cost of return shipping and/or exchange. Please ensure that all returned items are unaltered and include any original packaging, including all tags the item came with. 

  5. Le Mot cannot be hold responsible for any loss or damage made by the courier chosen by the client. Le Mot advises the client to choose a courier with tracking services. Usually the return of the product to Le Mot takes around 14 weekdays, but sometimes Portuguese customs need more information about the shipment in order to release it. The Le Mot product could be held by the boarder for up to a maximum of 10 weeks, and unfortunately Le Mot is unable to offer a refund until the items are safely returned to our offices.

  6. The pieces to be exchanged must be shipped to: Le Mot A/C: Susana Santos Rua Gomes Freire 10 2° Frente, 2700-428 Amadora, Portugal.

  7. The exchange will be made within 15 days upon reception of the return and if all the conditions mentioned in the return procedure are met. Le Mot assumes the responsibility of shipping back the new items.

  8. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

Returns

We refund items if they don't fit, but unfortunately we are not able to offer free returns or pre-paid labels. If you wish to have your item refunded, send us an email at info@le-mot.com mentioning the reason why you wish it returned.

  1. The item(s) can be returned within 14 days from reception of the order.

  2.   8. Refunds will be issued to the original method of payment. Where this is not possible, we will issue a credit note to use online. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
