Founded in 2017 by Susana Santos, Le Mot was born from a simple idea: finding high-quality t-shirts with French words. At the time, Susana could only find options in English and she knew the best t-shirts were made in Portugal, because every luxury house she worked with in Paris was producing here.
What began with a classic crewneck and familiar French expressions soon resonated with women around the world. Women who value pieces crafted ethically and with care, that blend comfort, quality and sustainability. Pieces with that unmistakable French je ne sais quoi. And, of course, with words that feel personal, meaningful, and close to the heart.
